The national news network CNBC recently revealed a countdown of Americas top five states for business. These are the states that managed to stay competitive even despite the nations fiscal crisis as well as the status of their own fiscal situations. The rankings are based on 43 criteria within 10 categories including Workforce, Infrastructure, Cost of Doing Business, and Economy.
North Carolina came in at #3 overall in the countdown, performing best in the Workforce and Infrastructure categories and making improvements in the Cost of Doing Business category.
